Wesley Snipes as Blade
Wesley Snipes could be about to reprise the role of Blade on the big screen.
It was back in Blade: Trinity in 2004 that we saw the actor last take on this role but, according to the New York Daily News, he has been offered $3 million to reprise the role.
Blade is based on the Marvel Comic character and the rights to Blade are believed to have returned to Marvel Studios from New Line Cinema.
And it seems that Marvel could be about to return to or reboot the franchise.
Snipes took on the role of Blade for the first time back in 1998. Stephen Norrington was in the director's chair while David S. Goyer penned the screenplay.
Two sequels followed in 2002 and 2004. A series hit the small screen in 2006, but Snipes was not involved.
It was only back in July at Comic Con that Snipes voiced his desire to return to the character for a fourth film... it looks like he may get his wish.
As for Snipes, he returned to the big screen this summer as one of the new faces on the cast list for The Expendables 3.
