The Legend of Tarzan swings into cinemas today as Alexander Skarsgård takes on this iconic role for the very first time.

The Legend of Tarzan is based on the character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs and sees David Yates back in the director's chair.
This movie is the first collaboration between Skarsgård and Yates as the filmmaker is back in the director's chair for his first feature film since the huge success of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 back in 2011.

The director has assembled a very exciting cast as Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson and two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz are also on board. Robbie is set to take on the role of Jane and I cannot wait to see her share the screen with Skarsgård's Tarzan.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side.
Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
