A heist brings together three unlikely people, consisting of two criminals and an FBI profiler; and there’s no telling what could happen next.
Netflix, the world’s leading streaming service, has recently unveiled the teaser trailer for highly-anticipated movie, Red Notice, starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot.
When an Interpol-issued Red Notice - the highest-level warrant to hunt and apprehend the world’s most wanted - is issued, John Hartley (Johnson), the FBI’s top profiler, is put on the case.
Hartley’s pursuit takes him across the globe, and lands him right in the middle of an audacious heist; he is forced to partner with the best art thief in the world, Nolan Booth (Reynolds), in order to capture the world’s most wanted art thief, codenamed ‘The Bishop’ (Gadot).
The adventure that is laid out before the trio sees them travel the world, from dance floors, to rough prisons, and even an arena with an angry bull; but worst of all, they have to deal with one another, time and time again.
The trailer for Red Notice boasts an action-filled comedy, as the main trio appear to nail their roles in this thrilling adventure. Gadot’s character is calmly confident, and is seen to know a thing or two about fighting her way out, as well as being classy and intelligent.
As we know, Reynolds and Johnson do very well in comedy roles, and Red Notice is the perfect film to showcase this. They are seen fighting together, both physically and verbally, as they work as a team to try and seize ‘The Bishop’ and take her into custody.
The trailer also lets audiences see the stunning cinematography within the movie, as set design for what appears to be a museum, the prison, and a host of other locations looks incredible; and the special effects appear to be stellar.
Netflix has hosted some incredible movies this year (2021), such as the Fear Street trilogy which did amazingly with audiences; now, Red Notice is on its way and by the looks of the thrilling trailer and outstanding cast, it will be on everyone’s watch list.
Reynolds, Johnson and Gadot are joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopolous.
Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, Skyscraper) and produced by Hiram Garcia, Johnson, and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, Beau Flynn’s Flynn Picture Co. and Thurber’s Bad Version, Inc., Red Notice is a classy globe-trotting game of cat and mouse, and cat again.
