Captain Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty, Bones, Sulu, and Chekov are set to return to the big screen next year in Star Trek Beyond, and the brand new trailer for the film has arrived.

Star Trek Beyond is the third film in the new star Trek franchise and sees Justin Lin take over the director's chair from J.J. Abrams for the very first time.
Lin is no stranger to the blockbuster with a series of Fast & Furious movies under his belt - I cannot wait to see him put his own stamp on this franchise and these characters.

Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, and John Cho are back as Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty, Bones, Chekov, and Sulu and it is great to see this talented cast reunited.
Idris Elba is the big new addition to the cast list and he looks set to play a terrific villain in the new instalment.
We may have the brand new trailer for Star Trek Beyond, but the plot is still being kept under wraps. I have been a fan of the Star Trek movie so far and I hope that Star Trek Beyond lives up to what has gone before.
