We are big Bryan Cranston fans here at FemaleFirst and he is back on the big screen this September with action movie The Infiltrator.
The Infiltrator is based on the true story of Federal agent Robert 'Bob' Mazur and will see Cranston take on that role as he teams up with Brad Furman.
This is the third fourth feature film for Furman and follows on from the success of The Take, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Runner Runner. It is good to see him back.
The brand new trailer for the film has been released and we have it for you to take a look at:
The Infiltrator is based on a true story and the book by Mazur and has been adapted for the big screen by Ellen Sue Brown.
A terrific cast has been assembled for the film as John Leguizamo, Diane Kruger,
Benjamin Bratt, Jason Isaacs, Joseph Gilgun, Art Malik, and Danny Mays all star alongside Cranston.
Based on a true story, Federal agent Robert "Bob" Mazur (Cranston) goes deep undercover to infiltrate Pablo Escobar's drug trafficking scene plaguing the nation in 1986 by posing as slick, money-laundering businessman Bob Musella.
Teamed with impulsive and streetwise fellow agent Emir Abreu (Leguizamo) and rookie agent posing as his fiancé Kathy Ertz (Kruger), Mazur befriends Escobar's top lieutenant Roberto Alcaino (Bratt).
Navigating a vicious criminal network in which the slightest slip-up could cost him his life, Mazur risks it all building a case that leads to indictments of 85 drug lords and the corrupt bankers who cleaned their dirty money, along with the collapse of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, one of the largest money-laundering banks in the world.
The Infiltrator is released 16th September.
