Jones is set to return to the director's chair with Warcraft, which is a highly anticipated big screen adaptation of the popular computer game. While principle photography on the film has been completed, it is not set to hit to be released until March 2016.

Jones has been keeping quiet about the movie so far, but has finally broke his silence to drop some little hints as to what we can expect from this first film - this could well turn into a franchise if this first movie is a box office success.

Speaking to Chinese movie news site Mtime, the director said: "From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans. First contact!

"I think that for a world with so much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about Warcraft… it was important that some of our characters would be seeing the world fresh as well, and that the audience could see the situation through their eyes."

Warcraft is the third feature film of Jones' directing career so far with Moon and Source Code already under his belt, needless to say, this will be the biggest movie of his career to date.

And the director went on to say that this will be a movie that will have heroes on both sides, he said: "A Warcraft film should not be about a good race of humans battling an evil race of orcs! Warcraft should be about heroes on both sides trying to avoid a conflict, when villains leave them no choice."

A terrific cast has been assembled for the film, as Travis Fimmel, Paul Patton, Toby Kebbell, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, and Ben Schnetzer are just some of the great names that are on the large cast list.

Warcraft is released 11th March 2016.
