Vince Vaughn has been cast in 'Fighting With My Family'.
The 46-year-old actor will star alongside the likes of Florence Pugh, Nick Frost and Lena Headey in the new comedy-drama movie based off the life of WWE superstar Paige, which is being produced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and his partner Dany Garcia.
The wrestler-turned-actor announced Vince's casting on his Instagram page, writing: "Our @sevenbucksprod is excited to welcome Vince Vaughn to our #FightingWithMyFamily cast.
"He loved the script and sank his teeth into it embodying this character. He's playing a man who I know all too well and those of you who follow wrestling history know well too.
"The 80's wrestling star who squandered his money and opportunities because he didn't have the capacity to handle his fame. One bad decision after another, but these days he owns his past actions and does everything he can to give back to the wrestling business he loves. (sic)"
Dwayne, 44, is a long-time friend of Vince and said he's excited about what he will bring to the new movie, having previously worked with him on the 'Get Shorty' sequel, 'Be Cool'.
He wrote: "Vince has been a buddy of mine for years and I'm fired up to see what he brings to this role.
"I grew up in and love this wild, crazy and unpredictable world of pro wrestling. Our little passion project is coming together nicely."
Dwayne also revealed that further casting announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Vince - who is typically known for his comedic roles - has begun stepping outside his comfort zone in recent times and has just finished making the prison action movie 'Brawl in Cell Block 99', as well as the police brutality film 'Dragged Across Concrete'.
