Vin Diesel has revealed that he would like to team up with Ang Lee for Kojak.
Diesel is set to take on the title role as the classic seventies TV series is given a bit screen makeover, however no director has yet been named.
Quizzed which director he'd like to work with in future, the star wrote on his Facebook page: "Kojak... New York... Ang Lee (sic)".
We haven't seen Ang Lee in the director's chair since the success of Life of Pi, and he isn't currently working on a new project.
The film's script comes from Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who penned the blockbuster James Bond flick 'Skyfall'.
Diesel is currently working on Fast & Furious 7, where he will be reprising the role of Dominic Toretto.
Fast & Furious 6 hit the big screen this summer and is the most successful instalment of the franchise to date.
Diesel has also completed work on Guardians of the Galaxy; he will be voicing the character of Groot.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be the second of two Marvel films to be released next year - it will also be the last Marvel film before The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
No release date or filming start date has yet been released for Kojak.
