Vin Diesel has teased that there is 'big news' coming at the end of the month about his involvement with Marvel.
Early this month Diesel revealed that he had been asked to meet with the studio about a possible project; he then posted a picture of himself in front of an Avengers poster.
Rumours have circulated that he has landed a role in Joss Whedon's Avengers sequel; which is to begin filming next year.
Diesel was at Comic Con over the weekend to promote his new film Riddick, which sees him reprise the title role.
When asked about a possible Marvel role the actor said: "He asked the one question I'm not supposed to say anything on!
"What I will say is, there is some very big news coming at the end of this month."
Riddick is the third film in the franchise and the first time that Diesel has played this role since The Chronicles of Riddick back in 2004.
Riddick is released 4th September.
