Vin Diesel's final scene with Paul Walker
Vin Diesel has posted a picture of the final scene that he shot with Paul Walker on Fast & Furious 7.
Filming on the seventh instalment of the hit franchise has been halted after the untimely death of Walker - who was reprising the role of Brian O'Connor in the new film.
Posting the image on his Facebook page Diesel also announced that the movie will now be released in April 2015, as opposed to the original July 2014 date.
He said: "The last scene we filmed together...
"There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured... and, in just how far we’ve come...
"Fast and Furious 7 will be released... April 10th 2015!
"P.S. He’d want you to know first..."
How the new film is set to proceed is not yet known - there was a rumour circulating last week that Cody Walker was set to step in to get the film finished.
The movie sees Diesel and Walker joined on the cast list by Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, while James Wan is in the director's chair.
