The actor revealed on Facebook two weeks ago that he has been asked by Marvel to meet with them.
And now the meeting has taken place the actor was cryptic about what had been discussed in the meeting.
But he took to Facebook once again to post an image (left) of him standing in front on Avengers poster and this message:
"Marvel meeting today. Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed...
"P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen... you know I get tunnel vision with my work... and after that meeting today... wow!"
Joss Whedon is currently working on the script for Avengers 2 and they are to start filming at the beginning of next year.
We already know that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be two of the new characters in the film. So what role could Diesel be playing?
However Avengers 2 is not the only Marvel project in the pipeline and he could be set to work on a completely different project.
