Vin Diesel says that he currently has no plans to get back in the director's chair at the moment.
The action star is back on the big screen with his new movie Fast & Furious 6 - a film that looks set to be another big blockbuster hit.
Diesel made his feature length directorial debut with Strays and while he being doing a heap of producing there is no directing work in the pipeline.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "You know, for me, acting is probably more therapeutic than anything now, while directing is an opportunity to tell stories.
"I don't think it would ever be appropriate to direct this big an action film, but sooner or later there's going to be some time that opens up where I could actually take a whole year to work on a movie."
And we are going to be seeing Diesel back on the big screen this year with Riddick, the third movie in the Riddick series of films.
The Chronicles of Riddick in 2004 was the last time that we saw him take on this role but he has reunited with director David Twohy for one of the most anticipated sci-fi films of the year.
Fast & Furious 6 is out now.
