Tom Holland is in talks for Christopher Nolan's new movie.
The 'Spider-Man' actor is expected to appear alongside Matt Damon is the as-yet untitled film, if he signs up for the motion picture.
Sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that the movie won't be set in the present day, but it's not yet known whether the film will be based in the past or the future.
Nolan has penned the script for the project, and plot details have been kept under wraps so far.
The filmmaker will also direct the motion picture, which will be distributed by Universal and has a release date of July 17, 2026.
Nolan will also produce the film alongside his wife, Emma Thomas.
Earlier this month, Damon was said to be in talks to star in the as-yet untitled movie.
It would be the third time Nolan and Damon have collaborated together on the big screen.
As well as last year's 'Oppenheimer', the 54-year-old actor also appeared in 2014's 'Interstellar'.
That would mean he will join Christian Bale and Cillian Murphy as actors to have teamed with Nolan on at least three occasions.
Nolan previously explained how he has constantly had to "evolve" alongside cinema, which is partly why he hasn't made any of the 12 to 13 movie ideas he came up with during his younger years.
In an interview with Empire magazine, he said: "As a young man, I had a list of, however many I'd worked out, 12 or 13 films... I had a lot of ideas and a lot of very specific things that I was going to do. And I look back and I haven't done any of them; they all changed.
"When you plan ahead too far in the movie business, you're not taking into account the shifting sands of culture under your feet... (Cinema) evolves. And part of your job as a filmmaker is to be open to being part of that evolution."
