Tom Hiddleston is set to take on the role of Hank Williams in a brand new biopic about the musician.
I Saw The Light sees Hiddleston team up with director Marc Abraham, in a movie that will see the popular actor do all of his own singing.
Abraham made his directorial debut with Flash of Genius back in 2008, this will be his first film since then.
Hiddleston took to his Twitter account to confirm the news yesterday, and poster an image of himself as Williams. Writing 'I Saw The Light.'
The movie is based on the biography by Colin Escott, and will begin filming later this year.
We haven't seen Hiddleston on the big screen since Muppets Most Wanted, but he has just completed work on Crimson Peak with director Guillermo del Toro.
He is set to start work on High Rise, a movie that would see him work with filmmaker Ben Wheatley for the first time.
