Tom Cruise says that it would be 'fun to do' a second Top Gun movie.
Cruise starred in Top Gun back in 1986, and LT Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell remains one of his most famous roles.
There has been a lot of talk about a sequel over the last eighteen months or so, and nothing is yet set in stone.
Speaking to Sky News, the actor said: "With movies, they each have their time - when it's ready to be made.
"If we can get over some stumbling blocks it will be fun to do."
Cruise was in London last night to attend the Jameson Empire Awards, where he was rewarded for his many years in the film industry.
While a second Top Gun film may not yet be set in stone, Cruise will be back on the big screen this spring with Edge of Tomorrow.
The movie is based on the book All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, and sees Doug Liman return to the director's chair.
Cruise also has a couple of other projects in the pipeline, including Mission: Impossible 5 and Van Helsing.
Edge of Tomorrow is released 30th May.
