Tinker Tailor Solider Spy
Work on a seuqel to Tinker Tailor Solider Spy is going on 'as we speak' according to producer Eric Fellner.
An adaptation of the John le Carré novel hit the big screen last year with Gary Oldman in the lead role of George Smiley.
Since the success of the movie there has been much talk about the devlopment of Smiley's People into a film.
Speaking to Collider he said: "We are working on another one. [Producer] Tim Bevan is putting it together as we speak with [screenwriter] Peter Straughan and Tomas Alfredson, so yes it’s in development."
Fellner served as producer on the movie while Tomas Aldredson was in the director's chair.
Peter Straughan penned the screenplay along with Bridget O'Connor and it appears that he has been brought back on the second project.
The movie was a critical and box office hit when it was released last year and it saw Gary Oldman pick up a nomination for Best Actor.
