Tim Roth says that his character in The Hateful Eight is related to someone in Inglorious Basterds.
Roth is set to reunite with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino in the new year for his latest Western The Hateful Eight - which is set to be one of the January movies that's not to be missed.
Roth has worked with Tarantino on Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction and this will see the actor and director team up once again. I can't want to see Roth back in action in a Tarantino movie.
He is set to take on the role of Oswaldo Mobray aka 'The Little Man' in the new film and has hinted at a link a character in a previous Tarantino film.
Not giving too much away, he told The Huffington Post: "He's connected to one of the characters. I won't say which one. He's the great, great grandfather of one of the characters in Inglourious Basterds."
This will not be the first time that we have seen a character nicknamed 'The Little Man' in a Tarantino film. B.J. Novak took on the role of Pfc. Smithson Utivich in Inglourious Basterds and he also had this nickname... could this be Mobray's relation?
The Hateful Eight is the first film for Tarantino since the huge critical and commercial success of Django Unchained and sees Roth star alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell, Channing Tatum, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, and Bruce Dern.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Roth on the big screen next year as he has also completed work on Life as These Speeds, The Brits are Coming, and The Jesuit.
The Hateful Eight looks set to be one of the early 'must see' movies that I can't wait to see Roth, Tarantino, and the whole cast in action.
The Hateful Eight is released 9th January 2016.
