Thor: The Dark World has surpassed the $500 million mark at the box office.
Thor: The Dark World is the second Thor movie, and sees Chris Hemsworth reprise the title role.
The movie has been on release in the UK for three weeks and a fortnight in the U.S. - in both countries the film has topped the box office.
The movie has so far grossed over $151 million in the U.S. and still holds the #1 spot at the box office.
It has grossed $352.2 million overseas - £28.3 million of that coming here in the UK.
It is the first time that we have seen Thor on the big screen since the success of Avengers Assemble and this is the second film in Marvel's Phase Two of movies.
It has already been a very successful year for Marvel with Iron Man 3 grossing over $1 billion; it is still the highest grossing movies of 2013 so far.
It looks like we are going to be seeing a third film in the Thor franchise, but we won't be seeing this character back on the big screen until The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Age of Ultron will bring Phase Two to a close in 2015, and filming will get underway next year.
Thor: The Dark World is out now.
