Thomas Kretschmann
Thomas Kretschmann is the latest name to be added to the cast list of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Kretschmann is believed to be taking on a major villain role in the film - however, that is yet to be confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter has suggested claims that sources have told them the actor is set to take on the role of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker.
Kretschmann is not the only new face that we will be seeing on the cast list of the Avengers sequel as Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor Johnson and James Spader are all also on board.
Joss Whedon will be back in the director's chair for the film, which is set to begin filming this year.
Kretschmann has been seen on TV most recently as he has played the role of Abraham Van Helsing in Dracula.
However, he will be back on the big screen as he has completed work on movies Plastic and F2014.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron will bring Phase Two of Marvel movies to a close in the summer of 2015, and will come three years after the huge success of Avengers Assemble.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 1st May 2015.
