Theory of Everything

Theory of Everything

Theory of Everything is set to be one of the early 2015 films not to miss and it is a movie that I am already looking forward to.

Theory of Everything - particularly the central performances of Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones - whipped up a storm at the Toronto Film Festival last month, where it received it's world premiere.

Redmayne is an actor who has been on the rise for some time, but this performance as Stephen Hawking could well be the role that elevates him even further.

A brand new clip has been released and shows Redmayne and Jones in action:

James Marsh is back in the director's chair for the film, which is based on the book by Jane Hawking herself.

Redmayne and Jones are joined on the cast list by Charlie Cox, Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Harry Lloyd, and Maxine Peake.

Little was expected from Stephen Hawking, a bright but shiftless student of cosmology, given just two years to live following the diagnosis of a fatal illness at 21 years of age.

He became galvanized, however, by the love of fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde, and he went on to be called the successor to Einstein, as well as a husband and father to their three children.

Over the course of their marriage as Stephen’s body collapsed and his academic renown soared, fault lines were exposed that tested the lineaments of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both of their lives.

Theory of Everything is released 1st January 2015.
