Filming on Their Finest Hour and a Half got under way in London last week and the first image from the film - which features Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy - has been unveiled.
Their Finest Hour And a Half is based on the novel by Lissa Evans and sees Lone Scherfig back in the director's chair. Scherfig has brought us movie such as One Day and An Education and it is her first film since The Riot Club last year.
Arterton is set to take on the central role and she and Nighy are joined by Sam Claflin, Richard E. Grant, Helen McCrory, Eddie Marsan, Rachael Stirling and Henry Goodman - it really is a very exciting British cast.
The release of the first time comes with news that Jack Huston and Jake Lacy are the latest additions to this exciting cast list.
Their Finest Hour and a Half is a romantic comedy set in the 1940s and combines the quick-fire repartee of a screwball battle of the sexes infused with the reality of filmmaking under threat of invasion and London in the Blitz. A witty, warm-hearted and moving portrayal of a young woman screenwriter finding her way in matters of life, death and the heart.
Their Finest Hour And a Half will be released in the UK by Lionsgate film, but not release date has yet been announced.
