Russell Crowe is set to make his feature film directorial debut with The Water Diviner, and two great new clips from the movie have been released.
Crowe is set to take the central role of Connor as well as being in the director's chair, while Andrew Anastasios and Andrew Knight have teamed up to pen the screenplay.
The first two clips for the movie have been released by Entertainment One, and we have them for you to take a look at:
Crowe has assembled a fine cast for The Water Diviner, as Olga Kurylenko, Jai Courtney, Isabel Lucas, Yilmaz Erdogan, and Cem Yilmaz are all on board.
The Water Diviner is an epic adventure set four years after the devastating battle of Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I.
Australian farmer Connor (Crowe) travels to Istanbul to discover the fate of his sons, reported missing in the action, where he forges a relationship with the beautiful Turkish woman (Kurylenko) who owns the hotel in which he stays.
Holding on to hope, and with the help of a Turkish Officer, Connor embarks on a journey across the country to find the truth about the fate of his sons.
Crowe has become a real great in front of the camera, and I cannot wait to see how he transfers all of that talent and experience to the director's chair.
