The Secret Life of Pets is brought to us by the makers of Despicable Me and sees Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney in the director's chair. This is the first film for Renaud since the success of Despicable Me 2 but this is the feature film directorial debut for Cheney.

A terrific voice cast has been assembled as Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks are all on board.

The collaboration between Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures has been a great one in recent years and The Secret Life of Pets is set to be their fifth feature film collaboration.
I have been looking forward to this film since the release of the first trailer and I cannot wait to see what they deliver - it really does look like it is going to be a lot of fun.
The Secret Life of Pets is released 24th June.
