The Secret Life of Pets has made it two weeks at the top of the UK box office and held off the very strong challenge from Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
The Secret Life of Pets, which is by the team that brought us Despicable Me, took a further £4.7 million over the weekend to hold onto the number one spot.
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie was the big new entry on the chart this week as the much-loved TV show came to the big screen for the first time.
Jennifer Saunders and Jennifer Lumley are back as Eddy and Patsy and the film has already been a mammoth success. The movie took £4.042 million, making it the biggest British film since Spectre last autumn.
Central Intelligence was the second and final new entry as the action/comedy opened at number three. The film, which grossed just over £3 million this weekend, sees Dwayne Johnson team up with Kevin Hart for the first time.
Independence Day: Resurgence was down two places to number four while The Conjuring 2 was also down two spots at this week's number five.
Me Before You fell out of the top five this week as the heartbreaking romance slipped from four to number six. The Nice Guys was also out of the top five as it finished the weekend at number seven.
Alice Through The Looking Glass was down two at eight while The Jungle Book was the second none mover at number nine.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows was this week's biggest faller as is dropped three places from seven to number ten.
