François Ozon is one of the best directors around when it comes to making movies about people and relationships... and he is back with his new film The New Girlfriend.
The New Girlfriend is based on the novel by Ruth Rendell and has been adapted for the big screen by Ozon, who is also in the director's chair for the new drama/comedy.
Ozon has brought us movies such as In the House and Potiche in recent years, but this is his first film since Jeune & Jolie in 2013.
A brand new trailer for the film has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:
Romain Duris is one of French cinema's biggest names and The New Girlfriend sees him take on the central role of David. He is joined on the cast list by Anaïs Demoustier and Raphaël Personnaz.
After the death of her best friend, Claire (Demoustier) falls into a deep depression, but a surprising discovery about her friend's husband David (Duris) gives her a new taste for life.
Ozon has a knack for bringing to life interesting characters and establishing complicated relationships - and it looks like he is going to follow that fine trend with The New Girlfriend.
