François Ozon is set to return to the director's chair next week with his latest film The New Girlfriend.
Ozon has brought us films like In the House and Potiche in recent years, but The New Girlfriend is his first movie since Jeune & Jolie back in 2013.
The New Girlfriend is a big screen adaptation of the novel by Ruth Rendell and Ozon himself as penned the screenplay.
A brand new clip for the film has been revealed and we have it for you to take a look at:
Romain Duris is set to lead the cast as he takes on the central role of David - this is the first big screen outing for the actor since Mood Indigo in the summer of last year.
Duris is joined on the cast list by Anaïs Demoustier, Raphaël Personnaz, Isild Le Besco, and Aurore Clement.
After the death of her best friend, Claire (Demoustier) falls into a deep depression, but a surprising discovery about her friend's husband David (Duris) gives her a new taste for life.
Ozon is famed for exploring characters and relationships extensively in his movies and he looks set to continue that trend with The New Girlfriend. If you are looking for a movie that is a little left of centre next weekend, this could well be the film that you are looking for.
