When it comes to on screen chemistry, it doesn’t get much hotter than that shared between Idris Elba and Kate Winslet in their respective roles of Ben Bass and Alex Martin in new movie The Mountain Between Us. This week, we’ve got our hands on an exclusive clip from the film, which you can now check out below:
Taking place after a tragic plane crash, The Mountain Between Us sees two strangers forced to work together and find a connection if they’re to survive the extreme elements and location they must now call home. Doing their all to get across a remote snow-covered mountain, they quickly realise that help isn’t on the way, and that they’ll have to move across the wilderness if they’re to stand any chance of coming out of the experience alive.
Based on the book of the same name by Charles Martin, the film will see its two lead characters push one another to their limits, learning to endure in the face of their biggest challenges of all time whilst discovering strength that they never knew they had.
Directed by Academy Award nominee Hany Abu-Asad, The Mountain Between Us is produced by Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Jenno Topping and David Ready. J. Mills Goodloe is credited as forging the screenplay for the flick.
