The Lego Movie has stormed to the top of the UK box office, comfortably seeing off the challenge from The Monuments Men.
The Lego Movie has already taken the top spot in the U.S., and now the success continues here in the UK.
The film boasts an all star voice cast that includes Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman, and has taken over £8 million at the box office during the first weekend.
The Monuments Men sees George Clooney back in the director's chair, but had to settle for second.
The World War II film took £1.6 million, and never got close to challenging The Lego Movie for the top spot.
RoboCop was down a single place at three, while Mr Peabody & Sherman fell three spots from one to four.
The Wolf of Wall Street continues to perform well as it rounded off the top five; falling two places from last week's number three.
In the second half of the top ten it was all about new entries as three more new films feature.
Tinker Bell and The Pirate Fairy, Cuban Fury and Endless Love opened at six, seven and eight.
Dallas Buyers Club and 12 Years a Slave were the two biggest fallers this week, as they both dropped five spots at nine and ten.
