The Lego Movie has made it a trio of weeks as the UK's #1 movie.
The Lego Movie would not be budged from the top spot, despite the release of Non Stop and Ride Along: both of these movies have already scored a number one in the U.S.
The Lego Movie took a further £3.2 million to see off the challenge: the movie has now grossed £26.6 million at the UK box office.
Non Stop may be #1 in America, but the film has to settle for second. Liam Neeson returns to an action role as he reunites with director Jaume Collet-Serra.
However, the movie was unable to catch The Lego Movie, as it took £2.6 million in its opening weekend.
Ride Along and The Book Thief were the second and third new entries inside the top ten this week as they opened at three and four.
Mr Peabody & Sherman and Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy were both down three places this week, as they slipped to five and six.
The Monuments Men was also down three at seven, while there was just a two place fall for The Wolf of Wall Street at eight.
12 Years A Slave is still inside the top ten, but fell two places to nine this week.
RoboCop rounded out the top ten. However, it was this week's biggest faller as it dropped five places.
