Anne Hathaway is set to team up with Robert De Niro for new comedy The Intern, and the first teaser trailer for the movie has arrived.
We haven't seen Hathaway on the big screen since the success of Interstellar, and The Intern will see her return to comedy for the first time in quite a while.
I always thought Hathaway was quite a good comedic actress and I can't wait to see her team up with De Niro - who has tackled a range of great comedy projects as he has got older.
The pair go from boss and intern to friends in this great first trailer for the movie:
The Intern sees Nancy Meyers back in the director's chair and on writing duties in what is her first movie since It's Complicated back in 2010. She is no stranger to this genre of film with Something's Gotta Give and What Women Want also under her belt.
Hathaway and De Niro lead an all-star cast as Nat Wolff, Adam DeVine, Rene Russo, and Reid Scott are also on board.
In The Intern, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
I have to admit, there are not too many comedies that I am excited about the year, but I am looking forward to seeing Hathaway and De Niro in action in The Intern. Looks like it is going to be one of the comedy movies of the autumn not to miss.
The Intern is released 2nd October.
