De Niro is set to play intern to Anne Hathaway's big boss lady, in what looks set to be a funny and touching movie that explores the bonds between different generations.
The Intern will mark the first time that De Niro has teamed up with fellow Oscar winner Hathaway and I really cannot wait to see them in action together.

The Intern marks the return of Nancy Meyers to the director's chair - she has also penned the screenplay for the film. Meyers has brought us movies such as What Women Want and Something's Gotta Give during her career, but this is her first film since It's Complicated back in 2010.
A great cast has been assembled for the film as De Niro and Hathaway are joined by Rene Russo, Nat Wolff, and Adam DeVine.
In The Intern, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
The Intern is released 2nd October.
