Sky Cinema original movie The Hurricane Heist is now just a few weeks away from release, and that’s why a brilliant and thrilling new trailer for the flick has this week been released, promising some of the most chaotic action scenes we’ve seen on the big screen in recent memory! You can check out the teaser trailer below:
The Gulf Coast of the United States is in immense danger in The Hurricane Heist, as a deadly and unstoppable hurricane comes down on the area, forcing a mandatory emergency evacuation, but luring in a group of hackers who think the event is the perfect opportunity to break into the vulnerable Treasury facility in the area, stealing $600 million in the process.
Stormchaser and meteorologist Will (Toby Kebbell) is caught up in the drama of the plan when he braces for the impact of the hurricane, and is forced to team up with the only Treasury agent left standing, Casey (Maggie Grace) and his brother Breeze (Ryan Kwanten). (Yes, he really IS called Breeze).
They must work together if they’re to stop the thieves from pulling off the heist of a lifetime, all whilst battling against the ferocious winds that threatens their lives at every moment.
Directed by Rob Cohen, The Hurricane Heist also stars Ralph Ineson and looks to be a lot of fun.
To-date, it’s split critics pretty much down the middle, and currently sits with a score of 42% on reviews aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes, counting 11 “fresh” reviews and 15 “rotten” ones.
Audiences will soon be able to make their own minds up however, as April coming around will mark the film’s big screen release.
The Hurricane Heist comes to cinemas across the UK and Ireland on April 6, 2018.
