The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 has topped Spectre from the top of the UK box office this weekend.
Mockingjay - Part 2 is the fourth and final instalment of The Hunger Games franchise and grossed over £11 million to comfortably take the #1 spot this week.
This will be the final time that we see Jennifer Lawrence take on the central role of Katniss Everdeen and Part 2 comes twelve months after the release of Part 1 - it really has been a long wait.
Spectre slipped just a single place to number two and has now taken over £84 million in the UK alone over the last month. The movie is also closing in on $700 million worldwide.
The Lady in the Van and Hotel Transylvania 2 were also two place fallers as they ended the weekend at three and four. Hotel Transylvania 2 has been a huge box office hit here in the UK and has grossed just over £19 million.
Brooklyn was the only movie on the up this week as the Saoirse Ronan film jumped a single place from six to round off this week's top five. It is one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the autumn and is expected to be an Oscar contender.
Steve Jobs slipped just one place to six, while The Dressmaker was the second new entry at number seven. The movie marks the return of Kate Winslet to the big screen and this is the second film inside the top ten for Liam Hemsworth this week.
Pan was down one at eight, while Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was this week's biggest faller, dropping five places from last week's number four.
The Perfect Guy, which has already topped the U.S. box office, was the third and final new entry as it opened at number ten.
