The Grudge is renowned by horror fans for being a classic of the genre. There have been a number of different films ever since the Japanese original, and now America are giving the film the reboot treatment all over again. Fortunately, it seems to be in very safe hands.
With Sam Raimi serving as producer alongside Rob Tapert and Taka Ichise, as well as Nicolas Pesce as director, the movie looks to be a brand new "twisted" take on the franchise. Whilst audiences may think they know everything The Grudge has to offer, the team here is looking to combat that with new directions and plot lines.
A whole host of A-list stars come together to form the new cast, including Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye and Jacki Weaver.
