The Good Dinosaur is set to be the sixteen feature film from Pixar and sees Peter Sohn in the director's chair making his feature film debut. However, Sohn is no stranger to Pixar having been behind the terrific short film Partly Cloudy.
I am a huge Pixar fan and am excited by the prospect of being treated to two movies from the studio this year. While the brand new trailer doesn't give that much away, it will whet your appetite for what is to come:
Lucas Neff is set to voice the central character Apatosaurus Arlo and is joined on the cast list by Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, Frances McDormand, and John Lithgow.
The Good Dinosaur asks the generations-old question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? The film is a humorous and exciting original story about Arlo, a lively Apatosaurus with a big heart.

2015 looks set to be another terrific year for Pixar with Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur both set to hit the big screen and great the imagination of audiences young and old.
