When it comes to autumn movies, The Girl on the Train is one of the films that I am looking forward to the most.
The Girl on the Train is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins and sees Tate Taylor back in the director's chair.
This is the fourth feature of Taylor's career and the first since Get On Up back in 2014. Erin Cressida Wilson is also on board having adapted Hawkins' novel into a screenplay.
Emily Blunt is set to take on the central role of Rachel Watson and features in some great new images from the film:
Taylor has brought together a fantastic cast for the film as Luke Evans, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Allison Janney, and Edgar Ramírez all star alongside Blunt.
In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasising about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.
There's already a lot of excitement growing around the release of The Girl on the Train and it looks like it's a thriller that will not disappoint.
The Girl On The Train is released 7th October.
