Matthew McConaughey is one of the most in demand actors since winning the Best Actor Oscar last year, and he has started filming The Free State of Jones.

And while we won't be seeing The Free State of Jones on the big screen until this time next year, The Film Stage has released the very first image from the movie.
The Free State of Jones sees Gary Ross on writing and filmmaking duties, as he returns to the director's chair for the first time since The Hunger Games back in 2012.
The movie is set during the Civil War and tells the story of Southern farmer Newt Knight - played by McConaughey - and the men who joined his armed rebellion against the Confederacy.
McConaughey is joined on the cast list by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mahershala Ali, Keri Russell, and Sean Bridgers.
We haven't seen McConaughey on the big screen since Interstellar wowed critics and audiences but he will be back with The Sea of Trees.
The Sea of Trees will see the actor team up with director Gus Van Sant, while Naomi Watts and Ken Watanabe are some of the other names on board.
The Free State of Jones is released 11th March 2016 in the U.S - no UK release date has yet been announced.
