The Fifth Estate is set to be one of the autumn 2013 movies not to miss as the story of WikiLeaks and Julian Assange is brought to the big screen.
Benedict Cumberbatch is set to take on the role of Assange while Daniel Bruhl will play Daniel Domscheit-Berg - who wrote the book that the film is inspired by.
Bill Condon returns to the director's chair for the drama that is set to Assange and Domscheit-Berg during the early days of WikiLeaks.
A terrific cast has been assembled for the film as Peter Capaldi, Stanley Tucci, Anthony Mackie, Laura Linney, Dan Stevens and David Thewlis are all on board.
Following Daniel Domscheit-Berg (Brühl), an early supporter and eventual colleague of Julian Assange (Cumberbatch), 'The Fifth Estate' traces the heady, early days of WikiLeaks, culminating in the release of a series of controversial and history changing information leaks.
The website’s overnight success brought instant fame to its principal architects and transformed the flow of information to news media and the world at large.
The Fifth Estate is released 11th October.
