There's not long to go now until The BFG hits the big screen and I cannot wait to see Steven Spielberg put his own stamp on a story that we all know so well.
Yes, Spielberg is back in the director's chair with a new adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic - this will be the first time that it has been adapted into a live-action movie.
Spielberg has created some wonderful movies over the years - E.T. still being on of my favourites - and this really does make his the perfect choice to direct this much-loved story.
The movie sees the filmmaker reunite with screenwriter Melissa Mathison, who also penned the script for E.T. back in 1982.
The release date for The BFG is creeping ever closer and we have some fantastic new images for you to take a look at:
The movie will introduce us to Ruby Barnhill, who takes on the central role of Sophie. She is joined on the cast list Mark Rylance, Bill Hader, Rebecca Hall, Jemaine Clement, and Penelope Wilton.
Rylance will be the title character to life as he reunites with Spielberg. This is their second project together and comes after Rylance won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in Bridge of Spies.
The BFG is the exciting tale of a young London girl and the mysterious Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country.
Spielberg has given us some wonderful movies adventures over the years and I cannot wait to see what he delivers this time around.
The BFG is released 22nd July.
