Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinker will return to write the script for The Amazing Spider Man 3.
Kurtzman, Orci and Pinker have teamed up with pen the screenplay for the second movie, which is released next year, and now they are turning their attention to a third project.
The movie is expected to hit the big screen in 2016, but it is not yet known if Marc Webb will be back in the director's chair.
It was announced earlier this year that Sony Pictures planned to make two more movies after The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Filming on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has now come to a close, and is set to be one of the biggest films of 2014.
Andrew Garfield will be back as Peter Parker, while Emma Stone, Sally Field and Martin Sheen are also set to return.
Some of the new faces on the cast list include Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan and Felicity Jones.
This time Spider-Man will be doing battle with Electro - played by Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released 18th April 2014.
