Ben Affleck is one of the most exciting actors around and he is set to return to the big screen with his new film The Accountant.

Affleck is set to take on the central role of Christian Wolff as he teams up with filmmaker Gavin O'Connor for the first time.
O'Connor has brought us movies such as Warrior and Pride and Glory in recent years and this is his first feature since Jane Got A Gun earlier this year.

The director has brought together an impressive cast list as Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, John Lithgow, and Jeffrey Tambor will all star alongside Affleck. It is an impressive and exciting cast and I cannot wait to see them all in action.
Christian Wolff (Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations.
With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of- the- art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.
Affleck has proved that he is one of the most versatile actors around and it is always exciting when one of his movies is on the horizon - it is great to see him return to character-driven drama. Could The Accountant be an Oscar contender? I guess we are going to have to wait and see.
The Accountant is released 4th November.
