Sylvester Stallone is set to return to the role of Rocky Balboa.
Stallone will be returning to his most famous role in spin-off film Creed: a film that is based on the grandson of Apollo Creed.
Michael B. Jordan will take on the role of Creed as he follows in the footsteps of grandfather and pursue a career in the ring.
Speaking to Jonathan Ross at 'An Evening with Sylvester Stallone' at the London Palladium on Saturday night (11.01.14), he said: "I'm supposed to be doing a film with Ryan Coogler, who did 'Fruitvale Station', called 'Creed'.
"It's very interesting because people think it would be 'Rocky VII' ... it's not, I have a supporting role. It will be great to take that character, who's actually not well, and pass on his knowledge while he still has time.
"I think it could be a great movie and a great challenge. It is going to happen."
Ryan Coogler will be in the director's chair as he teams up with Jordan for the second time: the two of them came together for the first time with Fruitvale Station.
Stallone will be back in the ring later this month with new film Grudge Match - a movie that sees him star alongside Robert De Niro.
Stallone is also set to lead an all star cast this summer as he returns to the role of Barney Ross in The Expendables 3.
