Suki Waterhouse is being lined-up to star in a movie version of the musical 'Cats'.
According to The Sun newspaper, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous show is coming to the big screen with Tom Hooper - who was responsible for making the 'Les Misérables' film - in line to direct.
And top of Hooper's casting wishlist for the film - being developed by Universal Studios - is model-turned-actress Waterhouse.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "'Cats' is one of theatreland's most-loved shows and Universal always knew a film version would capture the public's imagination. They have been patient with the project, waiting to bring in the right people. Tom has form for adapting musicals for the big screen and is the ideal choice.
"If negotiations go to plan, filming could start as early as this year."
'Cats' was created by musical mastermind Webber in 1981 and is the fourth-longest running musical in the history of London's West End.
Last year, former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger was seen in the role of Grizabella the glamour cat for a 12-week run at the London Palladium.
If Hooper does accept the directing job the 'Cats' film should be in safe hands as his 'Les Misérables' movie - which starred Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne and Hugh Jackman - won three Oscars.
