The Suicide Squad movie is in the can as shooting on the movie wrapped earlier this week.
The movie sees David Ayer back in the directors and he and his cast have been hard at work since early April shooting in Toronto in Canada.
Ayer has brought us movie such as Harsh Times and End of Watch during his career, but Suicide Squad is his first film since Fury at the end of 2014.
Suicide Squad is already one of the most anticipated films of 2016 and will boast one of the most impressive cast lists of next year's summer season.
We are going to be introduced to Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis as they take on the roles of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Enchantress, Boomerang, Rick Flagg, and Amanda Waller.
We are also going to see Oscar winner Jared Leto bring the Joker back to the big screen for the first time since Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight back in 2008.
We are also going to be seeing Ben Affleck make a small appearance as Batman. However, it was announced earlier this week that we would not be seeing Henry Cavill in the film as Superman.
The movie is based on the comic book by John Ostrander and has been adapted into a screenplay by Ayer himself.
2016 is going to be a great year if you are a comic book movie fan with a whole host of great projects on the horizon. News that filming has been completed on Suicide Squad comes just days after it was announced that principle photography had also finished on Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse.
Suicide Squad is released 5th August 2016.
