Straight Outta Compton has made it two weeks at the top of the UK box office, holding off the challenge from Inside Out and new entry No Escape.
So far, the movie has grossed over £5 million in the UK alone and there are already rumours of a sequel swirling around after the film's huge success on both sides of the pond.
Inside Out was also a none-mover as the Pixar movie remained at number two for another week. The latest Pixar film, which has been met with critical acclaim upon release, has grossed over $735 million at the global box office and is the second highest grossing animation film, behind Minions.
No Escape, which sees Owen Wilson team up with Pierce Brosnan, was the highest new entry inside the top ten as action/thriller opened at number three.
The movie is written and directed by John Erick Dowdle, who returns to the director's chair for the first time since horror movie As Above, So Below last year.
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation was the second none-mover inside the top five, as it stayed put at four. The movie broke through the $500 million barrier this weekend and is currently the eighth highest grossing film of the year so far.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is a movie that has been whipping up a storm ever since it screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and it opened at number five this weekend. The movie is one of the must see indie films of the autumn and has been met with great critical acclaim.
Pixels was out of the top five this week as it dropped a single place to number six. The Transporter Refuelled and American Ultra were the third and fourth new entries as they opened at seven and eight.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was down three places this week as it dropped from six to number nine. Hitman: Agent 47 struggled this week and was the biggest faller, dropping seven spots from three to number ten.
