Steven Spielberg
Steven Spielberg has been linked to a remake of musical West Side Story.
Deadline have reported that Fox have unlocked the movie title from its archive and are keen to work with Spielberg on a remake.
West Side Story was released back in 1961, and is based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Deadline went on to say that Spielberg and only registered interest in the project, and no writer is currently on board.
Lincoln was the last time that we saw Spielberg in the director's chair, but he will be serving as producer on The Adventures of Tintin: Prisoners of the Sun.
Spielberg directed the first Tintin movie with Peter Jackson producing; those roles will be reversed on for the sequel.
However Tintin and Robopocalypse are projects that have both been pushed back.
