Steve Carell is set to star in new drama The Priority List.
The Priority List is based on the memoir 'The Priority List: A Teacher's Final Quest to Discover Life's Greatest Lessons' by David Menasche - which was released back in January.
The film will tell the story of a Miami high school teacher who is diagnosed with cancer and told he has just months to live.
Menasche was diagnosed in 2006 but managed to prolong his life - and his career - through chemotherapy.
The movie will chart his battle with brain cancer, as well as follow him across America in a soul-searching journey.
Carell is set to produce the film as well as star alongside Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres.
It has not yet been revealed who will direct the film.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues was the last time that we saw Carell on the big screen. However, he has completed work on Foxcatcher and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
There is currently no release date for The Priority List.
