Black Panther actor Sterling K. Brown has opened up in a new interview about how those working behind-the-scenes with the Marvel Cinematic Universe stop leaks from getting out to the public ahead of official release dates.

Speaking to The LA Times, he explained: “Being in a Marvel film is the pinnacle of secrecy training. You get the script, but not a hard copy. And then, like, it dissolves. Like, it’s Mission: Impossible. The link self-destructs.

“Then you fet to set and they give you your sides for the day, and when you finish shooting, you turn your sides in. And if you don’t turn your sides in – ‘cause I forgot mine at the hotel one time – they follow you to the hotel to get your sides. And then you sign out. They ain’t [playing] around.”

The high level of secrecy isn’t surprising, especially when hackers seem to be getting more and more intelligent as the months pass by, with television company HBO currently going through a major drama and suffering leaks from their biggest show, Game of Thrones.

Being one of the biggest franchises in film, it’s hugely possible that there are those working right now to claim the secrets of the MCU and hold the companies behind it to ransom, so we’re glad everything is being kept tightly under wraps.

Spoilers ruin things for everybody.
