Star Wars: The Force Awakens is already one of the most talked about movies of 2015... and this weekend the first poster for the film was unveiled.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens was just one of the many movies that featured at Disney's D23 convention this weekend and fans got a look at the first piece of artwork for the highly anticipated film.
While many thing about the Star Wars franchise is set to change, some things do stay the same as Drew Struzan was back to create this new poster. Struzan has created posters for Star Wars movies in the past as well as films such as Indiana Jones.
The brand new poster features the new faces of Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver as Rey, Finn and the villainous Kyle Ren. As well as an appearance from Harrison Ford as Han Solo.
The Force Awakens cast list is a great mix of new names and unforgettable faces as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew are also back as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca.
Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, and Max von Sydow are some of the great and very exciting new additions to the cast list.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released 18th December.
