The Force Awakens is the first Star Wars film since Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith back in 2005 - yes, it really has been a decade long wait.
While little is currently known about the plot for The Force Awakens, the movie is set thirty years after events of Return of the Jedi.
The Force Awakens looks set to be one of the biggest movies of the year with the film already breaking records for amount of tickets sold.
I think it is safe to say that it will join the billion dollar club... but how quickly can it achieve that feat? The record is currently held by Jurassic World, which hit $1 billion at the global box office in just thirteen days.
